Calling All Lost Boys (& Girls), Pirates, Water Sprites
and Flame Dancers
Would you like to join the cast of Blackpool North Pier Theatre’s musical pantomime Peter Pan this summer?
Peter Pan is coming to
Peter Pan, J.M. Barrie’s classic story of exciting imagination and thrilling adventure, has been lovingly adapted for the stage by the award-winning writer of the hit musical Her Benny, Anne Dalton. With Anne’s wonderful songs and magical script this enchanting tale has been brought unforgettably to life as a thrilling new musical pantomime where Pirates, Red Skins and Lost Boys pursue each other with gusto across the stage in a riot of colour and energy. All the familiar characters are there but you’ll also meet some new friends. Neverland will never be the same!
Anne is searching for lead child performers to play key roles such as Tinkerbell, Michael, John and Tootles as well as a junior ensemble (8-15 years olds) to play The Lost Boys, cabin boys, Indians (girls and boys), Neverland animals, Tinkerbell’s street dancing fairy friends, Water Sprites and Flame Dancers.
Older performers (16-21) are invited to support the visiting adult professional company as the adult ensemble and also fill several adult character roles. A variety of dance styles is necessary and the ability to act and sing in ensemble.
Two large teams of musical theatre performers aged between the ages of 8 and 16, and one of 16- 21 year olds will be required for this exciting new production. Would-be performers must check their holiday dates against show dates prior to audition.
Peter Pan will be staged on consecutive Wednesdays beginning 25th July for six weeks (final show date is 29th August), with a 2pm and 7.30pm performance each day. Rehearsals will take place in the

Auditions for Peter Pan will take place on Sunday 22nd April at the North Pier Theatre,
Performers under 16 years of age are required to register at 10.00am and those aged 16 and above at 1.00pm. Auditionees are required to come in comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear and bring drinks and a snack. They should not bring backing tracks or prepared pieces.
